JOURNEY OF THE AUTHOR KAELEN FELIX

Kaelen Felix is a globally acclaimed American illustrator, author, and poet. She is best known for her passion for children’s book literature and has credited her inspiration to the word “whimsical” and her favourite childhood author and illustrator, Eric Carle. Kaelen is a native of Saint Louis, Missouri, in the United States of America. Her talent displays an enormous amount of tenacity.

A graduate of Memphis College of Art with her Bachelor’s concentrated in Illustration since 2018. After an unpredictable situation, she fell apart and completely sank into a major depression. When she nearly gave up on art, Kaelen almost threw away her career. Her soul and presence became crushed, shattered, and completely broken.

Then, one day, a voice of a higher power said, Kaelen, it is time to write one more time. ...and then, that became her turning point. Felix began to write with all her heart and soul.

Wings and Whispers: Tales of Friendship Volume One finally emerged! Once she managed to overcome her deepest weakness, she transformed her confidence and became a happier artist.

The story was written in almost four months, and in December 2023, she was accepted by a publisher! All the struggles, turmoil, and hardship led her to every accomplishment, and she’s not taking it for granted. In fact, her story has yet to be told, and she’s ready for the world to know her name.

The best is yet to come for Kaelen.

Hide-and-seek was their favourite game. They faced a slight challenge: bats are notorious for their weak eyesight. Fearless that they were, Bella and Benjamin chuckled and soared through the night sky, chasing each other.
